Vintage styling

Hello Ladies,

Yesterday I found this lovely clutch bag at TKMAX, its a fantastic find! Dirty white, with gold metalic panel, very fitting for this season and it was only £29,99! Thats why i love that shop, with a little patience you can find amazing things for silly prices.

I paired the bag with a vintage suit as I love mixing old and new. I had bought the suit few years ago in a charity shop. I also added some of my accessories, I think it works very well (especially on my young model)! Its a very elegant look :)

I also tried it out with cream pants, for a slightly more casual look.

Hope you like it!

Spring Walk

Dear Ladies

Lets start by saying it would be a sin to stay indoors whilst the long awaited sunshine has finally arrived. I have decided to go for a walk with my daughter and we took some pictures. It was a beautiful day, lots of greenery and trees in full bloom. Lots of smiling happy people on the streets, its amazing what the weather can do :) lets hope the sunshine stays with us for longer :) I am wearing a classical but casual combo of skinnies and shirt with black coat.

Witam serdecznie,

Spot of Baking

Dear Ladies.

Today I have decided to treat my family to a home made tasty bread!

This is an old recipe which is easily adaptable to suit any taste. Just by adding different ingredients you can spice it up or sweeten it depending on what you are having :)

This is the quickest bread recipe I know, and in about an hour your home will be scented with the loveliest of smell which is fresh home made bread :)

1kg plain flour
2 packs of dry yeast
1 glass of lukewarm water
1 table spoon of runny honey (or a spoon of sugar)
2 table spoon of live yogurt
2 table spoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 table spoon of salt
various seeds and herbs to taste ( can be poppy, sesame or whatever you fancy!)

I normally mix the ingredients by hand in a large bowl, however you can just as well use a kitchen mixer. If you find the dough too tight you can always adjust how much water is added to ensure the right, pliable consistency.

Divide the dough and place into oiled up tins. Leave it to rise in a warm corner of your kitchen for about 20-30 min.

Rising dough.

After the 30min, sprinkle the dough with some water. Also sprinkle with the seeds of your choice (my favourite are mixed seeds including sunflower, pumpkin and poppy which you can get in any supermarket). Then further sprinkle with some flour - this will give it a lovely crunch.

Pre-heat your owen to 180-200 C and bake the bread for 40 - 45 min, depending on how crunchy you like fancy it!

Baking to perfection and smelling heavenly!
After your bread has baked, carefully take it out of the tin and leave resting upside down for a few minutes for it to set.

The bread is delicious and doesnt need anything fancy to acompany it. Simply butter or fruit jam make it a delicious lunch / breakfast / snack. I always bake a couple of loafs because it disapears in no time, and friends often ask for a loaf for themselves :)

Hope you try it and enjoy it as much as my family does!

Some of this seasons accessories

Hello Ladies

I have not been feeling too well these past few days so didn't have the chance to enjoy some of the sunshine in London. However, I have digged out some of my old accessories which are very fitting for this season. I like to mix old and new and its always great to dig out something vintage that fits into current trends! As a self confessed shopoholic I have PLENTY of little bits and pieces to chose from ;)

Hope you like it :)

Mint green and yellow. I love pastels!

Younger ladies look great wearing it this way.

Healthy start to a spring day :)

Hello My Ladies!

After the VERY long winter, we have been blessed with glorious sunshine for the first time this year! To celebrate it I have treated myself to a lovely, healthy green shake. This is one of my favourite ways for staying healthy and getting veggies and fruit into my diet.

It is a very simple recipe and tastes yummy!

2 apples
1 orange
1 banana
1/2 lemon
1 bunch of kale
1 small bunch of baby spinach
1 glass of water
(you can add agave syrup or a couple of dates to sweeten it)

Blend in a mixer for a few minutes and ENJOY :)

The healthy ingredients!

Finished smoothie! As healthy as they get!

You should try it! Green smoothies are a fantastic way of getting the vital vitamins and minerals into your diet. Because of the bananas, this smoothie is very feeling and perfect for breakfast! Kale in itself is a superfood, full of vitamin A, b-carotene and plenty of calcium (very important for us ladies, especially in menopause)

Give it a go and let me know what you think!

My First Post

Welcome Ladies!

Ohh I started! I won't lie, I will remember this day for a long time. For the first time in my life ( and i have lived for a while now) I am starting a blog. I am very nervous and some may say I have gone mad. I have no idea how this works, or how it will work but I have dared to try it and thats that! You must try new things in life, and do things which make you happy :)

I love fashion, beauty and good style. I love looking at gorgeous and smiling ladies, well dressed, brave and oozing style. We cannot take a back seat in live, complaining, looking at women from magazines, gasping at how well they look. Despite the fact we are not 20 years old anymore, with self belief we can also be beautiful and happy.

A well groomed and smiling woman is a beautiful and a happy woman. So, lets start!

Witam kobietki!

Ohh zrobilam! Nieukrywam ze ten dzien dlugo bede pamietac. Po raz pierwszy w zyciu ( a zyje juz troszeczke) biore sie za bloga. Ktos by moze powiedzial ze zwariowala. Nie mam zielonego pojeci jak to dziala, jak bedzie dzialal ale poprostu odwazylam sie i juz! W zyciu trzeba probowac nowych rzeczy i robic wszystko to co nam sprawia pszyjemnosc :)

Uwielbiam mode, piekno i dobry style. Uwielbiam patrzec na pieknie ubrane i usmiechniete panie. Fajnie i modnie wystylizowane i odwarzne.

Kobieta zadbana i usmiechnieta to kobieta piekna i szczesliwa. To co, zaczynamy!
