Healthy start to a spring day :)

Hello My Ladies!

After the VERY long winter, we have been blessed with glorious sunshine for the first time this year! To celebrate it I have treated myself to a lovely, healthy green shake. This is one of my favourite ways for staying healthy and getting veggies and fruit into my diet. 

It is a very simple recipe and tastes yummy!


2 apples  
1 orange 
1 banana 
1/2 lemon 
1 bunch of kale 
1 small bunch of baby spinach 
1 glass of water 
(you can add agave syrup or a couple of dates to sweeten it)

Blend in a mixer for a few minutes and ENJOY :)

Finished smoothie! As healthy as they get! 

You should try it! Green smoothies are a fantastic way of getting the vital vitamins and minerals into your diet. Because of the bananas, this smoothie is very feeling and perfect for breakfast! Kale in itself is a superfood, full of vitamin A, b-carotene and plenty of calcium (very important for us ladies, especially in menopause)
